Organizations seeking initial accreditation AND those organizations seeking reaccreditation of certification programs on or after March 1, 2012 must use the following ABSNC Accreditation Standards. In addition, the Standards have been revised to include the accreditation of non-RN nursing team member certification programs offered by a nursing certification organization that currently has nursing certification programs accredited by ABSNC. Standards 1 and 6 are the only standards where language was modified to include non-RN nursing team members.
