fees - Through June 30, 2011

THE FEES DESCRIBED BELOW ARE APPLICABLE THROUGH JUNE 30, 2011. AS OF JULY 1, 2011, FEES WILL CHANGE AS NOTED BELOW.

Application Fee
A non-refundable application fee must accompany any accreditation application. Checks should be made payable to ABSNC. Applications submitted without the application fee will not be processed and will not be returned. Regular member organizations benefit from reduced accreditation application fees.

  • The application fee for ABNS members is $250.00 for 1 – 2 examination programs and $500.00 for 3 – 5 examination programs.
  • The application fee for organizations that are not ABNS members is $500.00 per examination program submitted.
  • Multiple examination programs must be submitted at the same time to obtain the reduced fees.

Accreditation Fee
Upon notification of approval, the applicant organization will pay annual accreditation fees within 60 days of receipt of notification of approval. Annual accreditation fees are based upon a formula using per candidate numbers at year-end. The fees are $0.25 for each of the first 25,000 certificants and $0.10 for each certificant over 25,000. The accreditation fees are capped at $10,000 per year. Initial accreditation fees are prorated depending on the quarter an application is submitted. The ABNSC fiscal year begins July 1.

As of July 1, 2011, accreditation fees will change. All applications for initial accreditation or reaccreditation must be accompanied with the new fees as of that date.

Application Fee (as of July 1, 2011)
The application fee for ABNS members will be $500.00 for 1 – 2 examination programs and $750.00 for 3 – 5 examination programs.

  • The application fee for organizations that are not ABNS members will be $750.00 per examination program submitted.
  • Multiple examination programs must be submitted at the same time to obtain the reduced fees.
